The condition of this obligation is such, that if the above bound Alex ander Aspinal his Executors, or Administrators and every, or any of the m, do well and honestly Educate and bring up Elizabeth Haythornethwaite t he natural and lawful child of James Haythornethwaite late of Staple Oa ke within ye parish of Slaidburn Deceased, with sufficient Meat,Drink, C loaths (sic), and all other Necessaries agreeable to her; Condition and E staten during her minority and make true and perfect Inventory, of all a nd singular the Goods and Chattels, and Credits, belonging to the said C hild – and to exhibit the same into the Regestry of the (?) Court at Yo rk, at or before the Second Day of June next ensuing, the date hereof, a nd also make or cause to be made a true and just account, of the same, w hen she shall be there unto lawfully called. And do also well and truly c ontent, satisfie and pay, or cause to be well and truly contented satis fied and payed unto the said Elizabeth Haythornethwaite her Executors, A dministrators or Assigns, and all such Filial or Child’s Part and Porti on, Gifts, Legacies, and other Personal Estate and all other Rights, Du es and Demands due or owing to her (?) Elizabeth by the Death,last Will a nd Testament of James Haythornethwaite her late father Deceased; or oth erwise when she shall accomplish the Age of one and twenty Years, be Ma rried, or otherwise lawfully Demand the same. And moreover, if need req uire,enter into better Bond with more sufficient Sureties for performan ce of the Premisses, as the Judge of the said Court for the time being s hall think requisite and needfull. And lastly do save, defend and harml ess keep Sigillat & Delilerat in Presentia C. Clampham ~ Alexander Aspi nall ~ James Aspinall.
