In the name of god Amen the twenty seventh day of July in the yeare o f our lord god one thousand six hundred and eighty two I Robert Hathorn white of Haselheads in the County of Lancaster Yeoman being somewhat si ck in body but of good and perfect memorie prayses be to god for the sa me do ordaine and make this my last will and testament in manner and fo rme following that is to say first and principaly I commend my soule in to the hands of Almighty god my maker and redeemer trusting that throug h the meritorious death of Jesus Christ to have full remission of all m y sins and my body to Christian burial at the discretion of my executor s hereafter nominated Item it is my will and mynd & I do give unto R obert Hathornwhite my sone all my houses and lands at Haselheads affore saide paying such sume and sumes to such pson and psons as hereafter sh all be nominated that is to say the sume of sixty pounds; to Thomas Par kinson alis Alston the debt which I owe to him what it is and to Christ opher Parkinson the debt that I owe to him what it is to William Richmo nd the debt I owe to him what it is to Nicholas Parkinson the debt I o we to him what it is to Michaell Bleasdall the debt I owe to him what i t is; which saide debts is to be paid out of the afforenamed sixty poun ds to the saide Thomas Parkinson alis Alston and Christopher Parkinson a nd William Richmond and Nicholas Parkinson and Michael Bleasdale as the b ecome due if the said sixty pounds will reach if it will not the remain der to be paid out of my goods and if in case the said sume doe over re ach the paments to the psons afforesaide the remainder to be paide to m y children equaly amongst them and I doe herby charge my sone Robert to p ay out of my lands fifteen pounds within three years after my decease t hat is to say to John Hathornwhite my son twenty five shillings and to J enet my daughter forty shillings and the remainder of the aforesaid sum e of fifteen pounds which is eleaven pounds fifteen shillings to be div ided equaly amongst Peeter John and Richard Julian and Jenet my sons an d daughters And as for my psonall estate after my debts and funeral d ischarged I doe give to Robert my sone one meale arke in the chamber ab ove and to John my sone one chist in the chamber where it ly and the re mainder of my psonall estate I doe give equaly amongst Peeter John Rich ard Julian and Jenet my sons and daughters and I doe herby frustrate an d make void all former wills by me maide and last I doe nominate and ap point Robert and Peter my sones executors of this my last will and test ament hopeing the will faithfully pforme the same as my trust is in the m reposed In witnes whereof I have hereunto put my hand and sale the d ay and yeare first above written
